Meal Kits: Assemble shelf-stable kits for families to enjoy while visiting our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. Meal kits give families access to meals and snacks while they stay close to their children at the hospital. Volunteers provide the contents and RMHDE provides the bags and labels necessary to help us make sure kits follow the guidelines set by our hospital partners.
Activity Kits: The families we serve are often on the go between doctor’s appointments, hospital visits, and travel to and from the House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. Activity kits provide families with the essentials so they can stay by their child’s side.

Help us to make our grounds a beautiful place for families to enjoy during their stay. Volunteers help with weeding, mulching, and seasonal outdoor tasks.

Our fundraisers help to raise awareness and funding to support our mission to help all families have access to medical care. Volunteers help to make our events a success! Some of the tasks our event volunteers help with include set-up/clean-up, registration, parking direction, greeting, and raffle sales. Some of our special events include the 5K in Wilmington and Lewes, our annual Golf Event, and Holiday opportunities.
