VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES DURING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. Currently, all in-person/onsite volunteer opportunities are suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we are closed to volunteers, we have still kept our doors open to families in need, so there are still many ways you can help us during this time of need:
Help promote/donate/sponsor our Meal Program: Although we cannot have any volunteer meal/baking groups in person at the House, we still promise our families at least 1 hot meal each day. Learn more about our current meal needs and how you can help here.
Make a donation In lieu of volunteering at the House, consider making a monetary donation. Your support helps us keep our doors open for families when they need it most. Donate online here.
Create Meal Kits for our families: Help provide our families with an additional food resource while over at Nemours/ Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Meal kits are distributed through our Ronald McDonald Family Room program there. For further information, please reach out to Sarah Sommer at email@example.com
Any interested teens (ages 15-18) or adults (18 years and older) that would like to be notified when the House opens back up to in-person volunteering should reach out via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make a difference to the families who come through our doors.
More than 400 volunteers serve as the backbone of the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware. Our volunteers provide the guest services that make this House a “home-away-from-home.”
