House Volunteers
You can help to keep families together when they need it most by joining our team of House volunteers. These volunteers interact with our staff, other volunteers, and guest families while helping with daily operations. Volunteers provide a welcoming environment seven days per week between 9am and 9pm. House volunteers must be 16 years of age and older and able to make a recurring, weekly commitment of 3 hours per week, or 6 hours per month for six months to one year.
Teen and Student Volunteers
Student volunteers provide valuable service to families and the daily operations of the House while gaining experience and self-confidence. The time spent helping families at the House helps to keep families together when the comfort of family is needed the most.
Ronald McDonald Family Room Volunteers
Family Room volunteers help create a welcoming area for families at one of our three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located at area hospitals. Additionally, volunteers help to make sure the rooms are clean and stocked with supplies. These are regular, committed volunteer positions.
Family Activities
Our Activities program provides a lift to our guest families. Doing activities helps alleviate stress and gives families the opportunity to spend time together outside of the hospital. Activity Examples include: Game Night, Arts and Crafts, or Face Painting.
Part of the success of our fundraisers we host are the volunteers that make them great. Our volunteers help with registration, parking, greeting, and raffle sales. Everything they do to help makes a difference in making the event successful.
