Volunteers are the heart and soul of the House. Our Volunteers serve in many ways, helping to make the House a welcoming and supportive environment for our families.

House Volunteers

  • Front Desk
  • Family Service/Kitchen
  • Van Drivers

House Volunteers help with daily operations at the House. These are regular, committed volunteer positions. Volunteers in these positions are asked to make a 40 hour commitment per year. Volunteers staff the House from 9am to 9pm, seven days a week. We have four (4) different volunteer shifts: 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-6pm, and 6pm-9pm. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Our House is successful in serving families due to the flexibility of our volunteers. We depend on people who are willing to pitch in wherever needed. Volunteer duties are varied depending on the day of the week, time of day, and occupancy rate.

Looking for a way to get involved but cannot make a regular volunteer commitment? See our Other Ways to Help.
