An outstanding career opportunity! High visibility, nationally known charity is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with documented successful fundraising experience to serve as Director of Development. The Director of Development is responsible for leading a team of development professionals to strengthen and grow support for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware (RMHDE). The Director of Development develops and oversees an ambitious, comprehensive, targeted, fundraising program and ensures the Development team successfully secures financial support from individuals, civic groups, foundations, and corporations in support of the RMHDE’s operating and capital budgets. In addition to leading the development team, the primary focus for the Director of Development is leading the major gifts programs including planned giving, targeting stakeholders in New Castle County, DE and Southern Chester County, PA.

The Director of Development reports to the President and CEO. Bachelor’s degree with six to eight years experience required. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills required. CFRE preferred. EOE. Excellent benefits offered: competitive pay, PTO, medical benefits and retirement plan.

Family Room Assistant

Ronald McDonald House of Delaware is looking to create a staffing pool of PRNs (per requested need) at our Ronald McDonald Family Room®  programs.

Ronald McDonald House of Delaware (RMHDE) is looking to create a staffing pool of PRNs (per requested need) at our Ronald McDonald Family Room® program locations at Christiana Care’s Women and Children’s Center in Newark, Delaware and Nemours Children’s Health, Delaware, in Wilmington; a majority of the physical hours will be at the Christiana Care Family Room location. These PRN staff members do not have regular shifts. These individuals are trained to work in our program where families and caregivers of newborns receiving treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit gather to rest and regroup.  Family Room Assistants provide frontline service to welcome families and provide administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the program.

This is a position Per Required Need.  Hours will generally fall between 11:30am and 7:30pm Monday-Friday to start, with planned expansion into weekends. Individuals in this position should expect to work between 10 and 20 hours per month.
